The Standard Municipal Library is happy to announce the First Annual Spring Reading Race. The race is from March 1-20. Pick up your spring reading race trackers at the library. Colour in a flower, butterfly, or book each time you read for 15 minutes (or are read to). Drop off your sheets at the library by March 17 and be entered to win a Sunday Family Day at Sandstone Lanes Bowling Centre. It includes an hour of bowling, shoes, non-stop pop (jugs of pop) and a hot dog for each bowler. All ages welcome to race! The winner will be announced on Sunday, March 20, the official first day of spring!
